You’ve always been able to burn the candle at both ends and get the most out of life.

But lately, you are just burnt out….

You devoted your energy to becoming successful in your career, opting to live a little (well,a lot)

Now in mid-life, expectations to meet never-ending demands are taking a toll and sucking the life right out of you.  You are under a lot of pressure to stay on top of your professional game and it doesn’t let up once you leave the office.  At home, you are pulled in more directions than Gumby.

In trying to hold it all together, you let go of taking care of yourself to take care of everything and everyone else.

  • You’re time crunched - with little time to exercise and eating whatever is convenient - putting on a few too many pounds around the middle.

  • You seem to be possessed by Oscar the Grouch and end up snapping at co-workers, your partner, or your kids way more often than you’d like.

  • You end up collapsing on the couch at the end of the day with a glass of wine in a last-ditch effort to relax your frazzled body and calm your fried mind.

Sound familiar?

Hello there!

I’m Lisa and no, I haven’t been secretly following you around. This was the situation I was in several years ago.

working in a rewarding but stressful job, grabbing anything that was convenient to eat in between meetings and teaching classes

I was too tired to exercise and had given up on my love of dancing.

Fatigue was my constant companion, clothes were too tight in all the wrong places and mental clarity was a distant memory.

Low energy, brain fog and weight gain became the norm.

After spending the last two decades working in the health and wellness field, I knew I needed to be healthier role model - both professionally and personally.

By adapting what I was teaching undergraduate students to my mid-life situation, I was able to get rid of extra belly fat while gaining muscle, clear the brain fog, dial down the stress and turn up the energy.

I know change is challenging, especially when you are struggling and want things to be different NOW

The temptation to try a quick fix - the latest diet, miracle supplement, or exercise hack is strong.  The bottom line is how you think, move, eat and recover determine how you feel and function.

Based on my experience, I developed an effective, evidence-based program that can be tailored specifically to your individual needs. No one size fits all, woo-woo or gimmicky tricks.

Key program components help you:

Here’s what some of my clients have to say.

Evidence-based strategies

Lisa’s coaching style is very positive. She provided me with timely education (ex. why it’s better to lose fat as opposed to just focusing on losing weight) and helps define sensible solutions.  She is encouraging and caring while holding me accountable.

With Lisa’s excellent suggestions, I saw improvement in cardiovascular fitness by changing my exercise routine, adding intervals and increasing intensity. I am confident that I will stay active and maintain the changes.  I think Lisa is doing a great job and I would recommend her.

Effective, sustainable change

Before working with Lisa, I was unaware of many behaviors keeping me from getting healthier. Lisa’s coaching style is non-judgmental and she asks questions that helped me discover the path I want to take.

Concrete improvements - losing 7 pounds of fat and doing yoga consistently, helping to reduce stress and improve my balance. I also had a shift in mindset about eating and emotion.  I don’t leave my success now to “willpower”, and have learned strategies that have set me up for success.  I reached my initial goals within 6 months and am maintaining those changes.
